Integrated psychotherapy
Healing is not
one-dimensional.
Neither is anyindividual.

Integrated Psychotherapy recognises that thoughts, emotions, the body, and lived experiences are deeply connected. Rather than working with one part in isolation, this approach brings them together allowing healing to unfold in a way that is sustainable and personal.

At Harmonia, integration means listening to the whole
of you.

The Harmonia Method

At Harmonia, we practice integrated psychotherapy. It is rooted in the belief that healing happens when awareness, regulation, and understanding come together. The process unfolds in three broad movements:

Awareness

Understanding emotional, cognitive and bodily patterns without
judgement.

Regulation

Learning to settle the nervous system, restore balance, and create
internal safety.

Integration

Bringing insight and emotional experience together, so change
feels lasting.

Modalities Used

Integrated psychotherapy draws from multiple therapeutic frameworks chosen thoughtfully.  Traditional talk therapy often works in a fully conscious cognitive state, which can help build insight but may not always reach deeply rooted trauma or conditioned emotional responses. These patterns are largely stored in the nervous system and implicit memory, beyond rational thought. In deeply relaxed states associated with alpha and theta brain activity, the body shifts into safety, allowing emotional material to surface. When therapeutic approaches like CBT, DBT, Schema, or Narrative therapy are applied within these regulated states, insights are more easily integrated, and lasting behavioural change becomes possible. Past Life Regression Therapy and ASCT are used as tools for deeper exploration. These approaches help access symbolic memory, subconscious patterns, and emotional imprints that may not always be available through conscious thought alone. The focus is on insight, and subsequently, emotional release.

What to Expect Here

In integrated psychotherapy, sessions are not scripted. They respond to what you bring emotionally, mentally, and physically in that moment. It is recommended for people looking for deeper shifts in behaviour and personality, rather than a quick fix. You should choose this approach if you want healing that goes beyond surface-level coping, and moves toward lasting clarity and balance. You can expect:

A safe, non-judgemental space

Thoughtful listening and gentle guidance

Exploration of patterns, not just symptoms

Support in understanding emotional responses

Tools to build self-regulation and resilience

Demo

We use EEG-based feedback to observe how the brain responds to therapy sessions and the therapeutic environment. This helps identify shifts from heightened alertness toward more relaxed, regulated states, offering insight into how the nervous system is settling over time. We also incorporate EMDR and alternate bilateral tapping when appropriate. These methods support the processing of distressing experiences by engaging the brain’s natural capacity to integrate memory, emotion, and bodily response, helping reduce emotional charge.
